Simply Champion - Hethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club are champions of Division One of the Norfolk League and have gained promotion to the Norfolk Alliance. To read about a remarkable day which saw them take the title despite losing to Great Witchingham click here

Top Singer is "Coming Home" - Top international soprano Elizabeth Watts will be returning to Hethersett in October for a special concert at Hethersett Methodist Church in aid of church funds. National Award for Tim

Pedal Power - Pedal power was the order of the day for young and not so young alike as cyclists set-out for a 14 mile round trip from Hethersett King’s Head on Sunday, 24th August for charity. To read the story click here 

 

In Touching Distance -  Hethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club are within touching distance of the Norfolk League Division One Title and promotion to the Norfolk Cricket Alliance following an eight wicket victory over Great Melton. They need just five points from their final league match of the season at Great Witchingham to take the title. To see all the club's results for the season click here.

 

Social Club Open Day and Presentation - Hethersett Social Club held its annual open day when members of the public were able to look round the club and also raise money for a number of local charities including the Norfolk Accident Rescue Service.
