Aspiring Artists - Meet on Thursdays at 2 p.m in Hethersett
Village Hall. Members use a variety of mediums with the aim of
supporting and encouraging each other in a relaxed and sociable
atmosphere. There is a small library of books and videos for
members' use and the group holds an annual exhibition in the
Card Making Club - Usually meets second Sunday of each month

and District Aid in Sickness Fund
and District Aid in Sickness Fund (formerly Hethersett Nursing
Association) gives financial assistance to those living in
Hethersett, Ketteringham and Little Melton. Grants help those
who are sick, infirm or convalescing and also help with the
supply of medical or nursing equipments. Grants can be used for
adapting cars, wheelchair or other mobility items, support
during a sudden medical crisis, nebulisers and other equipment
and pre-payment certificates for prescriptions. The charity is
run by a number of trustees. These can be contacted on the

Lindley Educational Foundation
Caroline Lindley Educational Foundation gives support to young
people in Hethersett and will consider assisting with the cost
of any educational activity, need or necessary supplies.
Applicants have to be within the 18 to 25 age range. The

Jubilee Youth Club
Jubilee Youth Club is in Back Lane virtually opposite the
Village Hall. Meets on Wednesday evenings from 5.45 to 7.30 p.m for
School Years 5 and 6 and from 7.30 to 9.15 p.m for Years 7 to 9. There
is also an out of school club on Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays

FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS
Parent and Baby Clinic meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of
the month from 2 p.m in the Methodist Hall. The group gives the
opportunity to weigh babies and see a health visitor for advice and

Mother and Baby Group with the support of a health visitor meets on
Fridays in term time between 10.15 and 11.45 a.m at the Church Hall in
Steps Play Group, for babies,
toddlers and parents and carers. Held in Village Hall, Back
Lane, on Mondays from 9.45 a.m until 11.15 a.m during school term time.
Different activities each week from painting to singing and free
play. A chance for babies and toddlers to play and explore with
lots of different activities and toys. For parents and carers to meet up
over a tea or coffee whilst their children enjoy a safe playing environment.

This is a very friendly group run by mums and dads.
Pre School Playgroup is based at Woodside Infant and Nursery
School. The Playgroup runs on weekdays from 9.10am -
12.10am for children aged from 30 months to five years. An
Activity Group for those children aged from 21 months to 30 months,
where parents and/or carers stay to play, runs on
Wednesday afternoons from 1.15pm to 2.30pm.
